If you’re looking for an easy, delicious and healthy snack, add blueberries to the mix!

Blueberries are packed full of goodness. Rich antioxidants, vitamin C & K, and fibre, blueberries are known to have a plethora of health benefits, including:

  • Boosting brain health
  • Fighting against cancer
  • Improving heart health
  • Protecting you from ageing
  • Reducing the risk of diabetes

The buck doesn’t stop there. Studies have shown that blueberries may reduce delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS). Further, the nutrient-dense fruit can accelerate the elimination of waste products that build up during exercise. Active folks and athletes rejoice!

How should you eat them? Easy.

Throw them into your smoothie or chuck a handful into your salad or muesli or yoghurt… Or simply eat them as they are! There’s really no going wrong. If they’re not in season buy a bag of frozen, organic blueberries and allow them to thaw in the fridge overnight.
